Hal Whiteman

Hal Whiteman

The Law Office of Hal Whiteman is devoted to representing those who have been injured through no fault of their own. Mr. Whiteman has represented those who have been injured while on the job for over 30 years.  His clients come from all kinds of occupations but especially from public safety occupations such as police and firefighters. Hal began his practice representing insurance companies and claims agencies thereby gaining a vast knowledge of the way they assess and defend claims. He puts this knowledge to work for his clients to maximize their recovery. He is a frequent lecturer and writer on the subject of workers compensation and injury-related issues.

A native Atlantan, he obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, and his law degree at Mercer University. Previously Hal helped to found the insurance and civil litigation firm of Gorby, Reeves, Moraitakis & Whiteman, where he was a partner for seven years. He left in 1992 to establish a practice as a sole practitioner until forming the workers compensation firm of Whiteman, Smith, & Hamilton in 1997. He was a principal in the firm of Whiteman, Hamilton & Hasner until 2003. He joined Cohen, Cooper, Estep, & Whiteman in 2004 as a principal. He now practices workers compensation law in Vinings. He and his wife Pat live in Sandy Springs, Georgia with their two dogs

Let Mr. Whiteman advise you on your rights. The initial consultation is always free of charge. Hal meets with every potential client personally to review the strengths and weaknesses of their case. You will receive the personal attention that you need.
